At DPS, we believe all families deserve equitable access to the schools that are the best fit for their students. Denver’s changing population means we must adapt to ensure every student has access to robust programming. We are beginning a community-wide conversation on Redrawing Our District Equitably: School Boundary and Enrollment Zone Update.

We are evaluating our boundaries and zones to better balance our resources, support healthy school enrollments and address population shifts across our city. Boundaries and zones guarantee all K-12th grade Denver residents a seat at their neighborhood boundary school or at one of the schools within their enrollment zone. This initiative allows us to adjust our enrollment structure and ensure every student in our district can thrive, regardless of their zip code.
